Clive Knauf Clive originated from the Mainland (Dunedin), where he met Barbara to whom he has now been married for 40 years. He is the very proud father of two grown children - Michael and Paula and now grandfather to the newest addition to their family – Gretel. Clive enjoys golf and has been heavily involved with sailing and working with teenagers competing in sailing at world championship levels, including his own son. Some of these teens have gone on to be involved with sailing at even higher levels perhaps explaining why Clive’s daughter married a sailor. Clive has been running his own practice since 1990.
Client Services Assistants
Tina Watson Tina has been with Clive Knauf and Associates for more than 10 years, making her the most senior staff member here and a wealth of information for us all. She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants as an Accounting Technician and covers all aspects of accounting in our Practice, as well as advising and training the team. Outside of work, Tina is involved in a number of social groups and enjoys night classes for pottery and about sustainable living. She has a seventeen year old son, James, and they enjoy holidays around New Zealand together. Tina also plays squash twice a week, and is ruthless when she loses; we have heard she is even known to have hit her opponent with the ball!
Sunny Ye Sunny has a Bachelor of Business Studies in Finance and Accounting and is currently completing her Graduate Diploma in Accounting. She's an integral part of the team, with fantastic language skills (English, Mandarin & Cantonese) - especially useful with our Non Resident clients. Arriving in New Zealand in 2001 Sunny is actively involved in her church activities as a mentor within her Youth Group, as well co-ordinating concerts and dramas. She enjoys camping and travelling, but also loves to relax indoors with a movie.
Jan Eastwood Jan has 20 years of experience working in a Chartered Accountants office, joining the Clive Knauf and Associates team in September 2001. She specialises in New Zealand businesses and accounts, as well as overlooking the Non Resident Centre in making sure everything runs smoothly. Jan has a large family, with four adult children, and two grandchildren. She's heavily involved in square dancing, travelling up and down the country to enjoy it. She likes the outdoors and tramping, and much to the pleasure of the rest of the firm, enjoys cooking and baking, and has some fantastic recipes.
Sarah Sarah has a Diploma in Payroll Management from the Institute of Payroll Professionals together with 20 years payroll experience. She emigrated to New Zealand in April this year from the UK with her husband and two children. Outside of work (when not running around taking her children to their activities) Sarah enjoys camping and Pilates.
Line Hart Line Hart joined the firm in July 2010. She works part time as our “Director of First Impressions” and helps out with all of the administration parts of the firm, making everyone's lives a lot less stressful. She is usually the first smiling face that you'll see as you walk through our doors. Line (pronounced Lina) is from Denmark but has spent all of her adult life in England and now lives here with her husband and two children. Together they all enjoy the outdoor life, especially the wonderful beaches of Auckland and if they are not out and about Line and her husband can be found cooking up a storm for their friends. They are real foodies and Line in particular enjoys baking. Her great sense of humour adds to a fun atmosphere around the office.
Dandan Zhu Dandan Zhu is the newest member to the team and has had more than five years work experience with medium sized Chartered Accounting Practices. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant with a Masters Degree of Professional Business Studies majoring in Taxation. Outside of Accounting, Dandan enjoys fishing and many other outdoor activities like flying down a snowy mountain on skis.
Indy Bandara Indy has a Bachelor of Management Studies with majors in Accounting & Marketing. She joined the Clive Knauf & Associates in June 2011 making her the newest member of the team. She is hoping to become a member of NZICA in a few years. Indy is newly married and lives with her husband on the North Shore. Outside of work she participates in variety of cultural shows where she performs on stage. To stay fit she enjoys swimming, badminton and actively supports the Sri Lankan cricket team in sport.
